Anaesthesia Physiology
About Course
Anesthesia alters respiratory physiology by reducing ventilatory drive and impairing gas exchange, affects cardiovascular physiology through myocardial depression, vasodilation, and altered autonomic tone, modulates CNS physiology by depressing neural activity and consciousness, and influences renal and hepatic physiology via changes in perfusion, metabolism, and clearance of drugs.
